Walked up Kew Road past the Maids of Honour tea rooms. Crossed Kew Green by St Anne's Church.

Took towpath upstream from Kew Bridge, with views into Kew Gardens including Kew Palace.

At Richmond Lock we crossed Old Deer Park and then the Chertsey Road to reach Richmond via Richmond Green.

After a brief pause for shopping we crossed the Chertsey Road again at the roundabout to return to Kew Road.
